Bituminous Binders Laboratory
- Bitumen, which is widely used in road construction, is the most important superstructure material due to its sustainability, high performance, energy saving, contribution to driving comfort, low carbon footprint, long life and recyclability. Conventional and Superpave binder tests on bitumen in accordance with current national and international standards are carried out in the bituminous binders laboratory.
Bituminous Hot Mix Laboratory
- Bituminous mixture pavements are widely used in road construction all over the world and in our country. In the coming years, many studies will be carried out to ensure that bituminous mixture pavements, which will be the most basic structural element of the highway in terms of both technical and economic aspects, will provide long-lasting and high performance service. Physical and mechanical tests on bituminous mixture pavements in accordance with current national and international standards are carried out in the bituminous hot mix laboratory.
Material Processing Laboratory
- The materials used in the research are stored. It includes equipment for screening aggregates to test specific geometries, as well as for cutting and core sampling bituminous hot mixes. It also includes sample preparation equipment.
