Fırat University Transportation Enginerring Research Center
serves as one of the region’s leading facilities for advanced testing and evaluation of pavement materials such as asphalt mixtures, binders, and aggregates. The lab supports both academic research and external projects from public agencies and the private sector with comprehensive, high-quality testing services.
Our capabilities cover a wide range of standard and advanced tests at the binder and mixture levels, including: softening point, viscosity, penetration, Marshall stability, Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS), rutting resistance, aging simulations (RTFOT/PAV), rheological properties (DSR, BBR), chemical analysis (FTIR), and microstructural evaluation (SEM).
